Next weekend, April 28-30, Daniel will be on the Virginia International Raceway circuit with the TR3 Racing Team, where the third Pirelli World Challenge 2017 event will be held.
This will the first race in the SprintX series, a format that includes a team of two drivers, 60′ instead of 50′ races with a mandatory pit stop for tire and pilot change in a 10 minute window that will be held in the middle of the race.
For this event, Daniel will race with Andrea Montermini, former F1 driver, with the Ferrari 488 GT3 of the TR3 Racing team.
“I am very confident for the race.” – Daniel said – ”The circuit that I was able to experience in a session at the Carman simulator is really exciting and having Montermini as teammate will help us to aim high in the rankings. The TR3 Racing team has done a good job one more time.”
The event is scheduled for Saturday 29 April from 3:30 pm (09:30 pm in Italy) with Race 1 and Sunday 30 starting from 01:15 pm (07:15 pm in Italy) with Race 2.
