A fifth place despite the difficulties

A really hard weekend that just spent on the Lexington circuit in Ohio, where the poor track grip compromised the Ferrari 488 GT3 performance of the Tr3 Racing team.
Despite the difficulties, however, Daniel managed to win a very good fifth place in race 2 – on 24 cars at the start – which allowed him not to lose too many points from the top of the standings.
Since the free practice, the Italian driver had difficulty to find the best set up of the car, but despite the Ferrari 488 GT3 was not at the top of the performance, in qualifying 1 he was able to get the eighth position.
At Race 1, from the fourth row, Daniel managed to have a good start, which allowed him to obtain the sixth position during the first lap.
A contact of the Ferrari #61, unfortunately, caused him to lose 3 positions, forcing him to close the race in P9.
In Race 2, with a best lap in race 1, Daniel started from the fifth position.
A good start of the race allowed the Italian driver to stay in touch with the top four, allowing him to close race 2 in fifth place.
“It was a frustrating weekend because I could not find the right feeling with the poor grip of the Ohio track.” – Daniel said – “Thanks to the great work of the Tr3 Racing team, however, we managed to improve things and in Race 2 the result came with the fifth place.”
The next appointment, part of the SprintX series, is scheduled for August 12-13 at the Utah circuit.
