After the fantastic victory on the Mugello circuit, Daniel is ready to take to the track again with the Audi R8 GT3 LMS of Audi Sport Italia.
The appointment is with the first race of the Italian Gran Turismo Sprint Championship which will take place next weekend on the Marco Simoncelli circuit in Misano Adriatico.
Mancinelli will join Riccardo Agostini, holder of the GT Sprint title won together with Alessio Rovera last year, in what is expected to be a hot weekend.
The two Audi drivers, who will have to play two races of 50′ each, will have to deal with apparently denser competition than in the Endurance championship.
“I am delighted – less than two weeks after the fantastic victory of Mugello – to return on board the Audi R8 GT3 LMS of Audi Sport Italia for the first race of the Italian Gran Turismo Sprint Championship which will see me at the start with Agostini for the two races of 50′ scheduled on Saturday and Sunday on the Marco Simoncelli circuit in Misano Adriatico.” – Daniel said.
The appointment is for Saturday 1 August from 10:40 am with qualifying and from 06:40 pm with race one (50′ + 1 lap) and for Sunday 2 August from 02:30 pm with race two (50′ + 1 turn).
