The FIA WEC championship arrives at Le Mans

Everything is ready for the fourth round of the FIA ??WEC Championship which lands in Le Mans for what is one of the most anticipated events of the motorsport season.
The teams and drivers arrived at the Circuit de la Sarthe last weekend to take part in what is more than just a car race.
Like every year, in fact, in addition to the parade of drivers immersed in the crowd through the streets of the city, there are many events organized to make this event unique.
Daniel will participate in the event together with Ian James and Alex Riberas aboard the Aston Martin Vantage LMGT3 of The Hearth of Racing team. In the collective test – which took place on Sunday – the 3 drivers proved to be truly competitive, managing to obtain second place just a few thousandths behind first.
The race will still be very close: there are 23 cars scheduled for the LMGT3 class and the first ten positions are within just 5 tenths.
“I am very proud to be back at the start with The Hearth of Racing team behind the wheel of the Aston Martin Vantage LMGT3.” – Daniel said – “It’s the second time I’ve taken part in this, which is the most important endurance race in the world. Ian, Alex and I aim to finish in the top 3 positions: we have an excellent feeling and the experience gained last year will certainly help us. In a 24 hour race however there are many variables, it is essential to stay focused, always be consistent and not make mistakes. I would like to thank all the partners and sponsors who help and support us.”
Qualifying will start on Wednesday 12 June starting at 7pm, while the 24h race will start on Saturday at 4pm.
The event will be visible in full on Eurosport (Sky channel 211), on Discovery+ and on the fiawec.tv website.
