The weekend just spent, May 20-21, on the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park circuit in Canada for the sixth Pirelli World Challenge event was really singular and strange.
During the qualifying, just after 6 minutes the red flag didn’t allow Daniel to improve his performance: the race direction decided not to resume the session forcing the TR3 racing team to start from the fourth row.
In Race 1, after a great stint, Daniel managed to stay in touch with the first and to deliver the Ferrari 488 GT3 to his team-mate in P6.
Schirò, unfortunately, because of a contact with the McLaren was penalized with a drive trough, which forced him to close the race in P11.
Race 2, on the other hand, was canceled by race direction because adverse weather conditions didn’t allow the race to run safely. It will be retrieved during one of the already scheduled appointments.
The coming weekend Daniel and the TR3 Racing team will be at Lime Rock Park, Connecticut, always for the SprintX series.
The event is scheduled for Friday, May 26, starting at 3.55 pm (21.55 pm Italian time) with race 1 and Saturday 27 starting from 1.20 pm (19.20 pm Italian time) with race 2.
