Last weekend, October 26-28, Daniel didn’t take part in the last round of the Italian Gran Turismo Championship on the Mugello circuit because the Easy Race team, given the unavailability of team-mate Fontana, decided not to participate to the event.
So Mancinelli took the opportunity to take part in the 2h Endurance Porsche Swiss Cup at the Misano circuit, a Swiss single-brand championship in which Daniel competed in the 3b class on a Porsche Cayman GT4 of the Centro Porsche Ticino team in crew with two other drivers, Di Bona and Jacoma.
During qualifying, the Italian driver managed to conquer the best third time in the category.
At the start of the race, Di Bona was the first driver of the crew to get behind the wheel of the Porsche and after about 6-7 minutes delivered the car to his teammate Jacoma, who drove for his stint of about 40 minutes.
Daniel, who drove the car for the last hour and ten minutes, thanks to really fast laps was able to recover ground, passing from the eighth position to the first and winning the race with 6 seconds of gap from the second classified, the team of Busnelli and Cantuseno.
“It was a really fantastic weekend.” – Daniel said – “I really enjoyed driving the Porsche Cayman GT4. It was a great satisfaction to end the season with a victory at the Misano circuit with the friends of the Centro Porsche Ticino… and we are already working on the new season!”
