The FIA WEC World Endurance Championship is coming to the Bahrain circuit for the final round this weekend.
The Hearth of Racing team arrived a few days ago to prepare for the end of the season.
Daniel and his teammates Ian James and Alex Riberas are 7 points behind the Porsche #91 and just 2 points behind the BMW #31 in second place. The goal is to finish with a podium and finish in the top three teams in the championship.
The team has worked hard to prepare the race strategy and evaluate the possible scenarios that could arise. 8 hours is a long time and the abrasive asphalt will mean high tire wear.
“I am very focused for this final round.” – Daniel said – “Last year on this circuit we achieved the first podium of the season. Also for this reason I hope we will do well this weekend by achieving another podium that would allow us to finish the season in the top 3 positions.”
The appointment is for Friday 1 November at 16:40 (14:40 Italian time) with the start of the qualifications and Saturday 2 starting at 14:00 (12:00 Italian time) with the start of the 8h race.
For those who want to follow the race weekend, they can do so as always live on Eurosport or in streaming on fiawec.tv.
The end of championship party will then take place on Sunday evening.
