The weekend just spent at the Road America circuit, in Wisconsin, was definitely positive.
During qualifying, Saturday morning, Daniel managed to conquer a fantastic pole position.
In race 1, Mancinelli started from the first position, but an accident immediately after the second lap caused the safety car to enter the track.
At the restart, a small hesitation of the Italian driver cost him overtaking Parente with Bentley and Vilander with Ferrari; finally a contact with Morad bound Daniel in fourth position.
In race 2 Mancinelli started from the fifth position, but thanks to a good performance and the excellent work done by the Tr3 Racing team to prepare the Ferrari 488GT3 he managed to finish in third place, winning a fantastic podium.
“I would like to thank so much the Tr3 Racing team for working so hard after the crash in Friday’s free practice.” – Daniel said – “They succeeded to repair the car quickly, allowing me to conquer the pole position on Saturday morning. It was exciting to be able to finish the race 2 third starting from fifth place. I would dedicate this podium to my grandfather who unfortunately came to miss Sunday.”
