Next weekend, 10-11 June, the 4th round of the World Endurance Championship (WEC) will take place on the Le Mans circuit.
An appointment made even more unique and special as this year marks the centenary of this amazing and exciting race.
Daniel will take part in the event driving the Aston Martin Vantage GTE #98 Northwest AMR (The Heart Of Racing team), with which he already competed in this championship at the end of April on the SPA Francorchamps circuit.
Last Sunday, Daniel and his teammates Ian James and Alex Riberas carried out the official test at the Le Mans circuit, getting to grips with the track and trying out the race configuration of their Aston Martin #98.
Although the track (in some sections it is a street circuit) was not in the best conditions, the sensations of the team were excellent and it was a fundamental test to gather some information on the various configurations of the car.
“It’s a dream for me to take part in this legendary race.” – Daniel said – “Especially this year, which is the centenary. It will be a very tough race. 24 hours are really a lot. It will be essential to stay focused as much as possible in order not to make mistakes and keep a constant pace”.
The race will start on Saturday 10 at 04:00 pm and will end on Sunday 11 at 04:00 pm.
It will be possible to follow the event live on the Eurosport and Sky Sport channels or in streaming on the fiawec.tv website.
