The WEC championship arrives in São Paulo

Daniel and The Hearth of Racing team have landed in São Paulo in Brazil for the fourth round of the FIA WEC championship which will take place next weekend, 12-14 July.
In the last event – the legendary 24h of Le Mans – Mancinelli suffered a serious accident due to a misunderstanding with a hypercar being lapped. Luckily the driver from the Marche escaped unharmed but the team had to abandon the competition when he was in second position with 6 hours to go.
The desire for redemption is therefore great: in recent weeks the team has worked assiduously to rebuild the Aston Martin Vantage LMGT3 and be in top shape for this new event.
For Daniel and his teammates Ian James and Alex Riberas it will be the first time on this famous circuit which also hosts Formula 1. At the start of the 6 hour race there will be 19 hypercars and 18 LMGT3s.
“I’m very excited for this appointment.” – Daniel said – “Unfortunately the 24h of Le Mans did not end as we expected. A misunderstanding with a driver of a hypercar during the lapping phase caused me to have a serious accident which compromised the race. The team worked as always as much as possible to prepare the car. I can’t wait to get on the track to redeem ourselves.”
The appointment is for Saturday 13th at 2.30pm (7.30pm Italian time) with the start of qualifying and Sunday 14th starting at 11.30am (4.30pm Italian time) with the start of the 6h race.
For those wishing to follow the race weekend, they will be able to do so as always live on Eurosport or in streaming on fiawec.tv.
